On May 21, 2017, staff, friends and family of Unique People Services (UPS) will lace up for AIDS Walk New York, joining thousands on a six-mile journey through Central Park.
The annual event is a cause that remains close to our hearts, as it mirrors our 26-year mission to enhance the lives of one of the city’s most vulnerable populations. UPS’ array of high quality services for individuals with HIV/AIDS includes housing, case management, medical referrals and Food Pantry services. More than 1,000 individuals - each living below the federal poverty level - have received services from our Care Coordination Program (CCP) within the past five years.
Your donation of $25 or more to AIDS Walk New York will be vital to helping us reach our $5,000 fundraising goal to help prevent the spread of this deadly virus, which has claimed the lives of 100,000 New Yorkers to date. To contribute to Team UPS, visit http://ny.aidswalk.net and type in “Unique People Services – 6318” on the event page. All proceeds will benefit the Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) and HIV/AIDS service organizations across the tri-state area.
Thank you for your support!
